Mike Knorr

Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology
 

Mike joined Canada Cartage in 2008 and assumed the role of CIO. As the CIO, Mike is responsible for leading Canada Cartage’s quest to be the leader in Information Technology within dedicated trucking. In 2009, Mike also assumed the position of Senior Vice President of Operations and Technology, where his sales, operations and technology skills combine to help Canada Cartage fulfill its partnership promises to its customers. Mike’s background is diverse and includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a major in Aerospace which he used during his time at BOEING. After leaving the aerospace industry, Mike started a software company which he took public in 1998. After this, Mike did an MBA at York University’s Schulich School of Business and shortly thereafter started a career in sales and marketing with GPX International Tire. It is this unique blend of engineering, sales, marketing and IT that makes Mike the ideal person to leverage technology in order to gain competitive advantage for Canada Cartage and its customers.
