DAVID BACON

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

David comes to Canada Cartage with over 20 years of business experience with public and private companies in the functional areas of strategy, corporate finance, governance and financial management. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer of SkyPower Corp. where he was a member of the core team that built the business from start-up to one of Canada's largest renewable energy developers. Prior to that, David held various senior finance and corporate development roles for a variety of private and public companies including serving as Vice President, Corporate Development with Toronto-based GT Group Telecom where he was responsible for M&A and strategy development. David began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is a CA and CPA (Illinois) and holds a BA from University of Western Ontario and MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University.
