This award system helps ensure that our people are both recognised and rewarded for demonstrating consistent, exceptional performance.

Long Service

All employees are recognised for their years of service with the company at 5 year increments and rewarded accordingly.

Safe Driving

Annually, we recognise those in our driving staff who have achieved accident-free performance with a certificate and pin from Transportation Safety Association (TSA) as well as a company sponsored function.

Bonus Program

The company rewards its drivers who have, by their responsible actions, timeliness and professionalism helped the company achieve its goals and managing its operating costs.

SUBSIDISED EDUCATION

Educational and Tuition Reimbursement Program

OK Transportation Limited will reimburse its employees for tuition and fees incurred for courses taken which offer both mutual benefit to themselves and the company.

J.O. Goodman Tuition Awards

OK Transportation Limited is a member in good standing of the Ontario Trucking Association Education Foundation. It is through our participation that the children of all full-time employees are eligible to apply for Tuition Awards provided by the Foundation.

BENEFITS

Group Insurance Plan

All company employees will be enrolled in the OK Transportation Insurance Plan which includes Life Insurance, Weekly Indemnity Insurance and Extended Health Care Insurance covering semi-private hospital accommodation, prescription drugs, and other services. Employee paid coverage includes Long Term Disability (LTD), dental, and vision care – of which only the LTD program is compulsory.

Pension Plan

All active full-time employees on their second anniversary date of continuous service with the Company, will be enrolled in the Group Pension Plan. Under this plan, the company will match employee contributions to a maximum of 2% or 3% per year (depending upon your years of service).
