- Leave lots of room, trucks require a lot more room to maneuver than cars.

- Trucks make WIDE RIGHT TURNS. Watch for the trucks' turn signal to determine the direction that the truck is turning. Trucks will usually swing to the left before making a right hand turn, do not assume that the driver is turning left and slip up the right side of the truck, you will be in the drivers blind spot and a collision will occour.

- If a truck is backing into a customers location from the road, give the truck plenty of room to maneuver, don't try to slip in behind the truck, once again you will be in the drivers blind spot.

- Due to the length of today's tractor trailers, the trailer will not follow directly behind the tractor, do not drive beside large trucks on winding roads.

- Leave as least 3 meters between your vehicle and the rear of a truck stopped at a light or stop sign. (especially on a grade.)
